go ahead - grab a handful
Do you often find yourself standing around the water cooler at work with nothing to talk about to while some douche recounts things no one is interested in? Have you ever struggled to come up with something interesting to say to that cutie who sits next to you in lecture? Do you mindlessly surf the internet until 2am looking for cool new tunes, movie trailers, news stories or stuff to buy that you don't even remotely need? If you answered yes to any of these then welcome to The Daily Handful, where you can grab a handful of interesting things to discuss with your friends, colleagues, family, cell mates etc.

10/26 Music Drop

I know its late Sunday and its almost Monday but I just came across some cool songs of the pop variety and figured I'd post them before I forgot.

First up is Lady Gaga with "Paper Gangsta" a fast paced pop song with a kick ass piano backing. Lady Gaga, an NYU alum, has been tearing through the online music scene of late and rightfully so.

Next up is "Another for the Darkness" by Gemma Hayes. Gemma Hayes is an Irish singer-songwriter in the vain of Missy Higgins or Tristan Prettyman with a little mainstream Colbie Callait thrown in for good measure.

The third track Lilly Allen's latest "Everyone's At It," one of her best in my opinion, is an ode to drug use and addiction. The dance-pop tune has some cool electronic background noise. I'm sure a few remixes with pop up in the next few days.

To round out the quartet we've got Lovers Electric with "Start Again." If you happen to enjoy shitty television, you might recognize the Lovers Electric from MTVs The Hills which featured a number of their songs. The Australian electro-pop duo was recently on tour supporting Colbie Callait.

Tunes:
Lady Gaga - Paper Gangsta
Gemma Hayes - Another for the Darkness
Lilly Allen - Everyone's At It
Lovers Electric - Start Again
